Conan O’Brien talked of the toned down violence in GTA 4 during his opening monologue.
In the past, Grand Theft Auto’s been severely criticized for being too violent. The new version, it’s been toned down a lot, I think in reaction to the criticism. I’m not sure it’s better. Take a look.

I’m hoping to have a full GTA IV review up within 24 hours. In the meantime, everyone should know that this game is good. Not only does it live up to the hype, it sails past any expectations. Find a midnight launch to attend, it’s well worth it.

With Grand Theft Auto 4 nearing release, Take Two has launched a preemptive strike against Jack Thompson and his inevitable legal assault. Let’s all hope that Jack learns a lesson in humility and starts respecting the first amendment.
